All Finished

So, I've been on a crocheting kick lately. As I think I mentioned, I've been working on a basket and it's finished!  Voila!!  It isn't quite perfect, but for my first attempt:  I like it!  Was hoping to be able to gift it to a friend for her birthday.  Still debating whether it's good enough or not.  It was way fun, but really hard.  And I learned a lot.  Wondering about making another one with a different yarn, one that's easier on my hands.   I'll have to hit the stores and see what yarn is out there.  I love learning new things.

And I love this article.

Show Love

Mrs. Frederickson never fails to cause me to think and often inspires me.  I love how she puts things.  And this is one article that struck home with me.  My heart is often hurt by the actions (rather exclusions and inactions) of another.  Like all of us, I imagine.  This is a good reminder to always be kind and loving - even when those efforts seem to disappear into a black hole.

I'm so grateful for people and words I can learn from as I continue to try to live a life of discipleship. I'm grateful for the kindness of others.
