So Wonderful

Yesterday was a gray day.  All day long.  Low clouds that threatened rain.  Finally got a few sprinkles.  Then this! (See picture)  Later on we had some hail and heavy rain pelting our windows on the north side, that's the side that rarely gets direct rain.

Can't recall when I've ever seen such a defined and brilliant rainbow.  Of course it was much, much prettier in person, pictures never do justice to the real thing.  But just uplifting nevertheless.

The new mattress arrives tomorrow.  Hope it'll be soon enough to help with The Husband's back.  After lengthy hold-times he finally got an appointment to see someone at our primary care physician's office for Monday - 5 full days away!! - which is required to get a referral.  Stupid insurance makes things so complicated.  I just abhor having to jump through all the hoops.

The new hairdryer works fine.  So grateful I had a gift card to pay for that.  So sad that I'll never be going back to Ulta again.  I'm done with their superior, haughty, snooty sales women and their demeaning treatment.  I don't think there's anything that I get at Ulta that I can't get somewhere else, where I'll be treated like the valued human I am. 

And maybe in the morning I'll have a new attitude - a kinder, gentler approach to life that is so needed by all of us.  😊
