Pictures

Tiny pink cones on our tree.
I wanted to share some pictures I've taken lately.  We've been out for walks and enjoying spring.  I continue to be enamored of all the blooming trees and flowers.  The alpaca (or whatever they are) that were in the farm/field on our usual Jordan River walks have been absent of late.  They must be permanently gone.  Saturday we did a different section of the Jordan River trail.  Loved the mist rising from the water, and the friendly sheep (we took a different route home so I didn't get to take a picture of the sign naming the kind of sheep) that truly wanted to either eat our hands or find some tasty snack - even though it was barely seven in the morning - in our hands.

This is going to be a kind of busy week.  I'm tired and it's only Monday afternoon.  But we've had a productive day taking care of some iPad stuff for The Husband ( back and forth and back and forth again) and doing a mini-Costco run.  There was a time we didn't ever have milk in the house.  I'm still working to improve  these old osteoporosis afflicted bones. (I imagine this will be the year for another bone density scan, I wonder how bad it'll be this time.  Sigh....) Anyway, we were only inside Costco for a few minutes.  When food costs are as high as they are and some of our basics are cheaper at Costco, we try to just run in, grab what we absolutely need and run out again.  Temptation for extras/luxuries is less that way.

We've something nearly every evening this week, tomorrow it's an invitation to a mission call opening.  So fun to be included.  I love when people don't forget us, even when we're old enough to be their parents.

My quilt frames were sold by our friend/neighbor.  I've a tiny bit of cash just waiting to be spent.  I'll probably just hold onto it for a while, like I usually do.  I don't need a single thing. But what a lovely feeling to have a bit of cash to just do what I like with.  🙌  Yay for me!!
