Last Page

It is perfectly logical for me to read (and quite often do) the last page of the book before I finish it. If it is stupid / doesn't end well / doesn't resolve things, then I can decide if I want to waste anymore time reading the book. For me, it is a good indicator of how enjoyable the book's journey will be on the way to the end.

There are no rules that say I must read every book I start, from beginning to end. Why then does it bother so many people that I do this? This is not a "failing" of my personality, and does not require comment.

I've found a way that works for me and that I enjoy. That's good enough.
