One more tonight.
We've heard some long talks, some talks with little substance and some good talks. So, about par for the course. The college graduations speeches are generally ones with more meat in them. Still, though, it's been fine.

And still, it feels like we've lots going on. The window well has been measured and hopefully is in production. We've an appointment for a bid on removing the north cottonwood tree. We're in the midst of appointments to be educated on Social Security (though I really do have to get down to the SS office and get my activation code so I can register my account), have lunches scheduled, been to the dentist and even more that the old brain cells can't remember.
Tomorrow is building cleaning (The Husband pretty much always signs up) and yard manicuring. We haven't been to a movie in ages - are finding that we're a bit more discriminating in what we're willing to even spend senior matinee prices to see. And Sunday starts my month again (yeah, not really my turn - the only contribution anyone ever considers me for at church is using my ten fingers on my enemy the organ) at the organ in Sacrament meeting. Plus a couple Sundays subbing in R.S. on the piano.
I am grateful though today for the beauty of this world. For an income that provides us with enough. (I am pretty content.) For a dental checkup free from cavities or follow-up work. I am grateful for books to read. And am grateful to help celebrate three of our grandchildren's graduations - they've all done really well. And I am thankful for "thank you" notes - how lucky I feel when someone takes the time to truly thank us.
