Thursday

So, I was determined to get in a walk this morning (yoga being my fall-back position).  I didn't get one yesterday - Tuesday was yoga so my step count was small.

Looking west just before the clouds dumped on me.
Checked the forecast when I finally woke up at 6:30 and it looked clear enough that I could walk.  I loaded my books to return to the library and set off.  It was beautiful out, the sky an ever-changing color and cloud view.  Dropped the books off and decided to go the extra distance that is a favorite section of my walk.  Not long after it was drizzling.  Then raining.  Then snowing pretty hard.  Then really heavy rain and by the time I returned home the sun was out, the clouds were gone and it was beautiful.  I'm so glad I took the risk, my spirits definitely enjoyed being out.

Looking up toward the coming sun.
Yesterday morning's breakfast at Corner Bakery was delightful.  A friend from church reached out - she's young (her youngest is in kindergarden so we squeeze breakfast in during those morning school hours) but apparently doesn't seem to mind that I'm old enough to be her mother. She's a gem and I'm so grateful for her kindness.

Came across this article this morning and really liked what she had to say.

Peace

I'm so grateful for good words that cause me to think.  I'm grateful for plenty of good things to read.  I'm grateful for being able to run up to the Temple yesterday afternoon and accomplish something.  How lovely it is to feel some hope for the future.
