Conditioned?

Agree or not, I think this is a well-thought article.

Almost mid-week and it's been a busy one. And will continue to be busy.  We've managed a couple movies  (Ford v. Ferrari was good, Charlie's Angels better than we expected), I've found some time to read a bit and begun a crochet project that I had to promptly rip out.  I'll get it figured out. We have commitments every day.  And out-of-town family coming for a quick visit.  It'll be lovely to see them.

My foot / ankle is still bothersome and I suspect will remain so for a while.  I'm fairly confident it's some kind of tendonitis. My compression anklet and socks have been helpful.  Trying not to take much ibuprofen. I go to yoga and have learned to baby my ankle and modify poses.  My walking will have to be somewhat curtailed, and I know tomorrow I'll miss it.  But it'll be raining in the morning so the treadmill will once again be my friend.

I've been so grateful for this forum for me to journal my life and my thoughts.  I'm not great at regular journaling, with actual paper and pen.  Somehow, my thoughts are easier to record in this medium.  It's much more conducive to my mental attitude at journaling.  I'll not be found recording my every thought and achievement on Facebook and printing out the pages to become a physical record.  This works just fine for me.

And if that last paragraph sounds like a non sequitur, it is.  My mind is all over the place today and has no logical sequence.

And this picture?  Came across this at the grocery.  Still can't figure out what I think about the product.  😑

Still, I am grateful.  Grateful for our comfy home and plenty of food to eat.  I'm grateful to have come across another avid reader that I can share book conversations with.  I'm so grateful for kind people who are fun to share their birthday breakfast.  And really, I'm also grateful for the Dollar Store.  I really like that they sell decent greeting cards - I can afford to send cards to more of the people I care about.
