It has definitely felt like spring. Super cold in the mornings, but warm sunshine in the afternoons. We've had snow and some overnight rain. And we're all still figuring out how to navigate life through this Covid-19.Heard on the news last night that the CDC is now recommending people wear masks when out in public. I am frankly surprised they didn't do this earlier. This is a virus with more unknowns than knowns and just because they didn't think in the beginning it could be airborne didn't mean it isn't. And viruses are tricky things. They've been known to adapt and evolve for their survival.

| Blurry but still pretty. |
Our view from the top of the hill was lovely, it's such a pretty day.
Conference has been fabulous so far. Still have 4 sessions for filling our spiritual cups. I need this. I think most everyone does. And the pictures: there's one I took the other morning at the park on our walk. We were the first to make an impression as we crossed the bridge over the stream. These pretty little double daffodils are blooming and I'm so happy the overnight 20 degree temps haven't killed them (the ground was too cold and too wet to kneel down to get a decent picture). This morning along the trail we noticed someone had been having fun. Scattered along both sides of a section of the trail were these painted rocks. Some were encouraging with words, others with only pictures. It was quite cute. I loved that this one had one of my favorites.

| Yup that's our Draper Temple in the distance. |
Therefore, dearly beloved brethren, let us acheerfully bdo all things that lie in our power; and then may we stand still, with the utmost assurance, to see the csalvation of God, and for his arm to be revealed. D& C 123:17
I always wish to be cheerful in my adherence to gospel principles and discipleship of our Savior. I know I've still a long ways toward that "always" cheerfulness. (Yesterday I was a tad low, just so frustrated at the continued growth of this virus. It sometimes feels like this will be our lives forever. Even though I know it'll eventually get better. I've got to have that hope that it will improve again.) It's good to recognize the abundance that we still have. Yes, I am grateful.
