I've ben saving up a few articles to link to here. I love that we have access to people who write uplifting things. I rarely (actually, probably never) agree with everything. But there is generally something thought provoking.
This was a kind of cute little article: List From Gretchen Rubin She often focuses on how to life more fulfilling lives.
Our walk this morning found us watching 10 deer. The other day (we have been seeing deer most every day lately) The Husband mentioned to some fellow walkers that there were some deer ahead and she was pretty dismissive. Obviously only interested in her conversation with her friend. I hope to always be aware of the beauties and blessings of this world that our Creator made for us.
Got to see our granddaughter and her three littles the other day at the park. Ran into someone we know. One of her first questions was how many grandchildren we have. I'm always so puzzled by that question. Is it a race / competition? There is zero control in my life how many grandchildren, or great grandchildren we have. She was quite anxious and proud to tell me she has double the number of grands that we have. Good for her.
Grateful today for another beautiful day of sunshine. For buds on our newest planted tree - it survived the winter - YAY!! But some strong young men who came out and in about an hour had pulled out pretty much all of the old leftover roots from the Blue Atlas Cedar we lost last year. That are that was such an eyesore and so troublesome for me looks so much better. I'm grateful today for the wise words of leaders from our General Conference over the weekend. It feels good to be grateful.
