Walked into the family room the other night, getting ready to button up the house and go to bed. And found the room aglow. With 50 gold balloons that have little LEDs inside. It was so absolutely unexpected and delightful that we laughed out loud. I couldn't bear to move them, was determined to leave them covering the floor until the batteries died. Then, this morning The husband and I decided to make garlands out of them and string them up. Everyone who comes into that part of the house will enjoy them!
Where our daughters got their creativity, cleverness, and kindkindkind souls, I'll never know. But I am grateful.
