Anyway, this little bamboo wind chime was a gift from him a few years ago. Don't expect he would have any idea how much I've enjoyed this.
Recently the strings broke. Not a surprise, it hangs out in the weather. I love where it is, it's just close enough to the house where we can hear it when we're in that part of the house which is most of the time. I really missed it.
The other day, The Husband set about the repair, re-stringing everything. Had to make a bit of an adjustment to the center clapper, if it's too high it doesn't do its designated task. But it's working just fine and I'm so liking that it's back. I often subconsciously ignore sounds that a lot of people notice. But this chime is something I always hear and I really like it.
So grateful that The Husband was able to fix it. Grateful for thoughtful gifts from anyone kind enough to think of me. And grateful for the beautiful music throughout the world, often in unexpected places.
