We finally got the window washers here today. They were scheduled for Monday, but between the rain that day and the rain on Wednesday we wanted to wait and wow- what a difference. It was worth every cent to have them come. A couple younger guys who are fine climbing the tall ladder, who do their work and are well-mannered beside? A great way to begin our Friday.
The week has seemed full - with a trip downtown on Trax (that can be a bit nervous making), haircuts, hauling a bedroom set up from the storage room to the truck for our granddaughter to take, window washing, and yesterday's day spent at BYU's annual Women's Conference. (We chose great sessions and came away uplifted and grateful for being able to go. Still haven't been able to conquer my issues with crowds, so still only attending one day. The picture - ignore the head I couldn't avoid - doesn't even begin to show how full the Marriott Center really was.) Wonder what next week will bring? If I'm lucky it'll include a bit of real fun.
I'm grateful for the spring flowers, that the weather yesterday at BYU was sun and not rain, for those who do a great job washing windows, for a really good washer and dryer and for something good to read (and something more waiting for me at the library). I'm grateful for sincere hugs. I'm grateful to have something that we were able to give to someone else for their benefit, hopefully they can use it and are glad to have it. I'm grateful for a gift card for dinner tonight so I don't have to cook. And I'm grateful I was able to get back out on my morning walk.
