Had To Laugh

• My propensity for klutzy clumsiness is well known.  I'm the one that falls, trips, stumbles - you name it, I've done it.

Was in the kitchen using the vacuum while working on the new drawer lining when our daughter walked in.  First words out of her mouth:  "Did you break another glass?"  Yes, it's too sad that that's the first thing someone thinks when I've the vacuum hose out in the kitchen.  :^)

Though it did please me to be able to proclaim that in fact, I did not break another glass.  Yet.

Love being on the trail.

• And as promised, here's a picture of the lovely yarn bowl.  I've got to think of a project so I can use it. Beautiful and thoughtful.

• It isn't often that I'm fortunate enough to be on the trail by myself.  This morning - for just long enough to take this picture - I was.  I love my morning trail trek.

I'm so grateful for my cellphone.  In the old days when The Husband was out of town, we hardly got to talk much, it cost a few more pennies than we had to spare for long distance.  And then there was the problem of phone tag.  Now we can text, share pictures, and even talk to each other when I'm on my morning walk.  A blessing that enriches my time when he's away and I'm so thankful for it.
