Mid-Week

Love this row of lilacs.
Our Hawthorne
Several flower pictures today.  There's a little trail that connects the lower road to the actual walking trail that is lined all along one yard in lilacs.  I always make it a point to walk the entire fence sticking my nose into each lovely smelling bush and just breathing in. It's a little reward.

I've decided - that this year - I'm preferring the smell of the darker white-edged lilacs.  They are just heavenly.

I had to take a picture of our hawthorne tree this morning.  It won't be this pretty for long, but I'm loving it while I can.
Favorite scent.

And I've a few observations (remember - these are only my personal thoughts!):

Stop signs are not suggestions.  They are more of a command.

Leash laws are also not suggestions, but laws to follow.  Too bad the scofflaws rarely see the consequences.

Sunshine is good for your soul.

Sincere kindness:  never over-rated, always important.

Listening is a much needed skill. Under-utilized and overlooked.

Eye contact is valuable.

Hugs are too.
