| Beautiful morning. |
This morning we needed one single item from the grocery so we opted to walk up the hill to the WalMarket. I didn't really want to use my card (no one is presently taking cash - sigh - I much prefer to pay cash whenever possible) for only $2.50 so in addition, we bought a packaged slice of banana bread, a small pack (these two items were $1 each) of mini-donuts, a banana and two bottles of Darigold (my absolute favorite) chocolate milk. We ate those things as we walked along (sometimes it is barely possible for me to eat and walk at the same time 😋) and after a while I mentioned how fun it was that we actually went out for breakfast! We took a route we'd never walked before and enjoyed looking at the houses we passed. There was little traffic on most of those roads (the one thing I always hope for: less traffic!!), it was cool enough for my rain jacket (skies were totally cloudy from the overnight-long rainstorm - and yes, we did just barely one day ago have our windows washed) and the air was crisp and clear. Simply perfect.
The other day I thought I was quite lucky to find a nickel. Today The Husband found a horse shoe. We didn't however, pick it up. Wonder if today will be lucky at all?We also saw this sculpture in a yard. Too fun!!
And yes, I think I'll say it's a lucky day: I have two fresh library books!! YayYayYay! Something new to read. It was announced these books had been in quarantine for 3 days so should be safe to touch. And I don't even care, I'd have hugged them to me anyway.

Here's an article I thoroughly enjoyed.
Listen to Hear
I'm grateful for purpose to my morning walks. I love them anyway, but somehow it feels better to have a goal that I can fulfill. I'm so grateful for something new to read. Grateful to have planted some more flower seeds outside - though not so grateful that I basically dumped nearly the entire package of Sweet William seeds (they are teensy tiny and match the dirt in color so it was really hard to be able to spread them out) in one little area instead of broadcast spreading them as I'd hoped. I'm grateful that I like being home and that I feel safe here. And grateful for a church day tomorrow. It'll be good for me.
