New Things

After a bit of kerfuffle the Charger was finally scheduled for the replacement windshield.  They did a great job (as far as we can tell) and The Husband says it looks markedly better when driving.  Yay for new windshields.

This morning's walk yielded sightings of several little geese families in the canal. I just love seeing the littles paddling along after the parent in the water.   The canal water flows much slower than the creek around the corner.  No little goslings there.  Though we did see a family of geese by the library - those goslings are older and growing fast!

The iris that we planted (gift from our daughter's coworker last fall and a total experiment - never grown iris before) are going to be new blooms pretty soon.  I'm so anxious to see how pretty they are.  I never used to like iris flowers but over the past few years have become quite fond of them.

The the dirt (that looks like gravel)?  Those are tiny little seed balls that I received as a gift for Mother's Day that I just went out one day and stuck in a spot where I thought they'd do ok.  Tiny little sprouts are definitely cause for hope!

So, new ducklings, new flowers of several varieties and new windshield.  A good day for new things.  I often like new.

Grateful today for prayers.  As I always am.  I have been having a continuous constant prayer in my heart for some loved ones.  I hope my desires match up with the will of our Heavenly Father.
