We switched up the day with our walk in the late afternoon, finishing up just in time for a late dinner. It was too cold and slick out for walking in the morning, as is my natural preference. I am at my highest energy in the morning, and it dwindles during the day. But somehow I feel just a slight uptick along about roughly 4:30-7 p.m.
It's not generally hard to convince The Husband to do pretty much anything that sounds like it might be fun.
We even took a completely different route than usual. Which is always a good thing when you're walking pretty much every day. The sun was just starting to hide behind the clouds. All day long we'd had such a weather variety. Blizzarding one minute, then bright sunshine the next with a scattering of dark clouds in between. We managed to catch the time when the weather was the clearest for the longest. The trails / sidewalks we were on were mostly deserted - just the way I like it. It was cold enough but warm enough that I wasn't too awfully cold in my layers and the views were spectacular. It's really a shame that my phonecamera doesn't capture the sense of awe and appreciation for that beauty that we felt and saw.
