Spring in Utah is a favorite season of mine. As are fall, and winter. Summer? Not quite so much, I'm a wilt-er in the heat. We've had several days that included: sunshine, clouds, snow, frost and temps that range from the 20's into the 50's. (Yup, all in the same day.) I love it here, life is never boring (except those endless, hot, cloudless summer days) if the only scale is the weather.
Yesterday afternoon my ministering partner and I had a visit scheduled with one of our sisters. I spent the morning (and really the day before) trying to figure out what I could take. I really dislike going empty handed. Couldn't come up with a thing. And wouldn't you know - this was the one (and only time in memory) they each brought something for the other two of us. A fresh loaf of bread from a local bakery and this cute little box-basket of chocolates. The bread went straight in the freezer - what a thoughtful gift. The candy? The Husband and I each had a piece for breakfast this morning. Yes, a lovely addition to our breakfast.I'm missing being on here every day expressing my gratitude. I'm taking w-a-y fewer pictures because I'm not constantly thinking of fun additions to this blog. So, today, I'm grateful that I didn't completely shut it down so that I could come back and remember a bit of unexpected kindness from a friend.
