Step One: Remove the solar panels.
We thought the roof replacement would get bumped out a bit because of the weather. Apparently not. The roofing contractor texted yesterday and asked if he could stop by this morning to look things over. Pretty soon a crew of two showed up. And roughly two hours later all the solar panels are down.
It was so stressful for me I had to go on the complete opposite side of the house. Couldn't stand to watch for very long.
The non-roof picture? Our morning walk. It was just lovely. The skies brighten a bit earlier as it gets closer to spring and we love being out when most people are still in.
So grateful today for professionals to do the stuff we simply cannot do. So grateful for kind contractors who don't seem to mind my "Nervous Nellie" personality and give me the reassurance that helps. So grateful today for some sunshine to help facilitate the solar panel removal. Fingers crossed for a smooth re-roofing project. (And now that I've finished this, I guess I should have cropped that house out of the picture. Maybe I'll try again.
